UNITED WEEKEND HOST HOME FAQ

What is United Weekend 2022?
United Weekend 2022 is where students from churches in South Oklahoma City and Moore come together for a weekend filled with worship, friends, fun, and being challenged to go further in their walk with Christ. The students attend sessions together at EHC, and spend Friday and Saturday nights in Host Homes, and return to their home churches to worship together on Sunday morning.

Who can be a Host Home?
Any member of Eagle Heights Church can serve as a United Weekend Host Home. In keeping with our church policy, hosts must complete a background check if they have not already.

What would I do as a Host Home?
You would have a small group of students spend the night in your home on Friday and Saturday night (younger students will have an adult sponsor staying with them; older students will as sponsors are available). Hosts often help provide transportation during the weekend to and from the church, and we also enlist other volunteers to help as needed. You are welcome to attend the sessions at the church, but not required to do so.

What about meals?
Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday are the only meals in the Host Homes; students will be encouraged to bring some snacks with them. The Student Ministry covers the expenses for the Host Home breakfasts up to $6 per person (it’s best to do something simple and quick).
